    Description: The question was recently raised as to why we choose to work with Windows NT technologies on some projects, rather than one of the various *NIXs (e.g., Linux or one of the various flavors of Unix). Security and reliability are among a few of the well-known concerns about using an NT-based platform. Consequently, I drafted this document to address some of these issues and to document some of the advantages of going with NT.
